- Colonial Latin America: mix of indigenous art forms with European materials

Inspired by the Portrait of Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, we will be making escudos. We will be coloring in and pasting on an image of Sor Juana on to the escudo. This is our makeshift homage to quite an incredible woman!
